Well it's late Saturday and I'm bushed. Worked overtime at my regular day job and am looking forward to a great hockey game tonight. Sorry I'm getting off track here. Anyways I found something that grabbed my attention on how to make some easy money online with a couple of websites. The first one is called the content authority found at www.thecontentauthority.com . There you will find a website that looks for people who are willing to write articles about various subjects. There are many internet marketers who are dedicated to making money online and need content for their niche websites. I decided to join up to check it out.
First they want to see if you are literate or not. You have to write a 150 word article on a subject of their choosing and submit it for evaluation. I did that and about a day later I was accepted into the writers guild. Wowzer, I never thought I could call myself an author but hey what the hell, the internet is such a neat place. So once accepted I went to their dashboard that shows the various topics that people want an article written about. I chose plasma tv bracket and needed to make a 305 word article as a minimum. I know you're going to ask... how much did I get paid. Well I'm a tier 1 writer (beginner) so I get .007 cents per word. It took me about 10 minutes to write the article so you do the math. It's just a starting point to show you that if I want to I can write probably 50 articles per day and make some decent money on the side. There are other places like this on the internet. Another one is textbroker but I'm in Canada and they won't allow Canadians to join because of some bogus excuse about tax laws.
So there you have it another method to make some extra cash online. I'm going to make many more articles for this new endeavor and use the money to finance my keyword academy membership and build more of my own websites. So far so good. I have a little stream of money happening daily now and I'm stoked to build it up. Next post I think I'll talk about adsense a little bit. Have a great weekend

Gaining momentum
Well it's been about 3 months of work and learning but I'm gaining momentum.
I have 6 niche sites set up now with one generating 29 dollars per month while the others are sputtering along, making small amounts. Part of the reason for that is the one that makes 29 dollars is an aged domain I bought and upgraded. I paid 120 dollars for it on a place called flippa. It's sort of like the ebay of websites buying and selling. My other sites are still in the aging process and are making a couple of bucks a month while slowly climbing up the google ladder as I add more content to them and back links. This was all learned at the keyword academy ... http://www.thekeywordacademy.com/ . I can't say enough about all the help I've received from people in the forum there as well as the good video tutorials that show you how to actually set up and grow a real online business. I must say I've gone from being a skeptic to a realist now. It can be done. I mean make real money online. I'm still waiting for the question of how much to be answered, but that will take at least a year or more depending on how much effort I put into it. An exciting twist on the whole thing is the academy has just added a new way to make what they claim to be a 5000 dollar per month income. They call this method the supersite method. There is very little information missing that I needed to succeed. One area I had to brush up on is wordpress. All the niche sites that you need to know how to set up are on the wordpress free blog software. So after hunting around the internet I believe I found a really good answer to the wordpress brush up at this place ->

Skill set to make money online
As promised I am going to try and define the skill set necessary to be able to make money online. Don't get fooled by people that it is possible to make easy money online. You need to have a skill set already in place or develop it. So let's look closer at what's necessary.
First of course you need to have a decent command of the English language or at least another high traffic language where the Internet is supported.
I think the next skill set you need to have is what I call computer basics. By this I mean be able to save files intelligently on your computer so you can stay organized. A lot of people create a folder/file mess on their computer and lose or misplace a lot of information. This just compounds issues of learning new things necessary to build the infrastructure to make money online.
The next skill or perhaps it could be called desire or trait is the wanting to make money online and willing to spend many hours learning. You must be willing to sacrifice time from watching TV and socializing or other activities. Making money online should be treated like a business, because that's exactly what it is. Unfortunately many have entered the field with wild dreams of getting rich quick because they have been sucked in by unscrupulous people who lure you in promising all sorts of nonsense. The business of making money online is like any other real business. It takes time and some money to get going. You can start off very conservative and build up slowly making money bit by bit more and more. You may not see any money for a year or more before it starts to flow. This is the reality of making money online for most people if they manage NOT TO GIVE UP BEFORE THEN!
So lets make a list of just what you will have to learn if you don't know how to do it already.
1. Computer basics
2. Good writing and reading skills
3. Learn the things necessary to put a website on the Internet (I'll break this down)
Learn the logistics of getting a website hosting account.
Learn how to register a domain and point the name server numbers to your hosting account.
Learn how to transfer files from your computer to your hosting account. (FileZilla preferred)
Learn wordpress (it's by far the easiest and it's free)
4. Learn the details of adsense and how it works and finding a topic that you can build a website around that will draw enough people in. (There are 3 specific tools I use for this).
5. Learn the details of how affiliate marketing works and how to implement it on your website(s)
Ok that is the overview I promised and it is right from memory as to what I did as I spent the better part of 4 or 5 months learning this stuff.
So now that you have the basic recipe for how to make money online I hope I've opened your eyes as to what's necessary.
Let's face it we are human and the lure of money is strong. Don't run out onto the Internet and think there is a short cut, there isn't.
So what's the upside if any to attempting this online money making stuff?
1. This business is one of the lowest overheads to start. ( You work from home)
2. If you have good writing and reading skills you can actually make the seed money necessary to start your online business by selling your researching and writing skills. There are people in this business who look for people to write approx. 400 word articles about various subjects for approx. 0.015 cents per word. So one article nets approx. 6 dollars.
3. Once you start generating money it becomes residual (meaning it keeps happening every month ) as long as you spend a couple hours per month at keeping your website fresh.
4. The amount of money you can make continues to grow as you build a portfolio of websites.
5. Once you reach a level where you have a good size portfolio it gets even easier to build more and have them reach #1 faster.
6. The more effort you put into this business the more money you make. Incomes well above 5000 per month are not uncommon. (I can prove this if you need to see proof) Once you achieve making the same amount of money online as you make at your regular everyday job you may want to focus completely on the online at home job and boost your income even more.
So where do you go from here... up to the green area at the top and go to the keyword academy and join up for a buck (30 day trial) check out the videos and the niche refinery. Also I recommend you buy the Marketing Samurai and you'll have everything you absolutely need to succeed properly in niche marketing. Optimizing a website for google search
Well I spent the better part of an hour optimizing my main business website just so it ranks even higher in google. I used a tool that showed me things my website was missing when I built it many years ago (10 actually). This was the first website I ever built and it's all made of html code that I learned by reading the html for dummies book. The tool I used is called the marketing samurai tool. My website actually ranks 6th in the world for the keyword "wire harness manufacturers" of which I'm one. I fixed 5 items that were wrong so it should be interesting to see how it fairs the next time google crawls through it. I'm expecting to move up a few places at least if not grab the #1 spot for the world on it. You can check it out if you want the website address is http://www.ctwireprep.com/ When you type in a google search "wire harness manufacturers" as of today I rank 6th. I don't have this website monetized and never will. This is my business and I rely on this website to pull in actual customer request for quotes. It usually pulls in one or two good quotes per month. I have no sales person on the road drumming up business so this website is very important to the marketing of C-T.
I learned how to optimize a website by going through the process of learning about making money online and finding out if you actually can. You definitely can I assure you. It doesn't happen fast, and it's basically a part time job hour wise. By that I mean I put in about 4 hours a night for the past month and a half or so. The learning curve is long enough but I find it fascinating stuff. If you ever want to truly learn how to make money online go to the keyword academy (you can see the link over on the right side at the top of the green area). It costs a buck to check it out. They have a number of very informative videos about making money online. The same principles they teach for money making can be applied to any website to make it rank in google on the number one page. In fact I will say this. If you have a business website and you want to get it on page one of google you can most likely do it. Building a supersite!
Well I've learned enough from the academy now that I'm stoked. My first niche is doing well. They said to do 15 but I only did one. My time is limited and it does take a few hours a night and about a month to really learn how to get going. Now I'm in the process of building a super site that should net me somewhere around 5000 dollars per month at least. So I'll keep you informed about that as time goes on. Make Easy Money Online
Ok as promised from my earlier post I now have the link set up for you to visit a place that definitely will teach you everything you need to know about how to actually make money online.
Making easy money online is just not all that easy, but once you learn how to you can make a very healthy income that continues month to month as long as you keep it going. By that I mean once you do the initial work and put in the time, then its about 2 hours a month to keep it going.

Making easy money online is almost an oxymoron, well sort of.
Let me explain what I mean by that statement. When I first started down this path of seeing if theirs truth to the tons of information that hits you when you start looking into this subject I was skeptical. I am able to make what is called static websites as I mentioned on an earlier blog so I set about making a few and monetizing them. I did indeed make a little bit of money but not much. About 7 bucks all toll. The problem when I analyzed the situation is simply this. If I could get a ton of traffic to the websites I have built then yes I would make some decent money and maybe a really good amount.
So the short answer is yes you can make easy money online BUT not a lot.
This is where I am now on the journey of finding out more.
Now lets look a head to my next effort of digging deeper into this subject.
I am now involved in a coaching place that supposedly is going to teach me all the ins and outs of the real way to make money. This is costing me some money per month to enter what is called the membership area. Sort of like rolling back the curtain on the Wizard of Oz perhaps to see if he's bare ass lying or telling the truth. Once I figure this out I will post it here.
I'll fill you in on what the COACH has told me next post.
